THE AREA 14 PONY CLUB DRESSAGE COMPETITION WILL BE ON SUNDAY 12TH JULY AT BROADLANDS, ROMSEY. 

Just so you are all aware the Preliminary Dengie Winter League Qualifiers are upon us again and you will need to chase round a bit to try and qualifier for the Area 14 competition on 22nd March at the West Wilts Equestrian Centre.  There is now an OPEN and NOVICE class.  Briefly, if you have competed for your Branch at Open Area level you are not able to do the Novice section, but please read the rules on the PC UK website (www.pcuk.org) or check the PC Dressage rule book 2008 and Dengie Dressage Rules 2008/2009 for full details. At the Preliminary Rounds the Novice class will ride The Pony Club Dressage Test 2004, and the Open class will ride The Pony Club Novice Championship Test 2005.  Remember for the Preliminary rounds you can go to qualifier in other Areas (sometimes easier as we are a very competitive Area!) and the Test can be commanded.

Winter Dressage Training – if anyone would like me to organise some winter training at Leigh or elsewhere (Delerie, Clare Moir or others) I am happy to do so but I need to know what the demand is.  I am happy for all ages and standards and feel very strongly that the true basics need to be learnt early.
