ABOUT US
- The Cattistock Hunt Branch was established in 1931.
- We are part of the Area 14 which includes 20 other Pony Clubs.
- We are one of the largest branches in the area.
- The emphasis of our Pony Club is to have fun with and without your pony/horse.

- PONY CLUB CAMP FORMS ARE NOW ON WEBSITE.
- IF YOU WISH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ONE OF THE AREA TEAMS THIS SUMMER, PLEASE CONTACT THE APPROPRIATE TEAM TRAINER ASAP.
- HOLLYWOOD BALL on Friday 4th September for 13-17 yr olds. Tickets are starting to go so don't delay as they are limited.
HELPFUL TIPS
Is your pony/horse fit enough for camp? Junior and Senior camps are busy so do try to give your pony/horse enough work beforehand.
Remember to worm your pony/horse before Pony Club camp.
Those attending Senior Camp, please make sure your pony's/horse's flu vaccination is up-to-date.
Get your pony shod just before camp.
Is your tack in good repair? Pay particular attention to reins and stirrup leathers. A tack check will take place on the first day of camp.
If you need to buy anything for camp, most shops offer Pony Club members a discount (eg Highwood in Yeovil is offering 10% off). Take your membership card with you and don't be afraid to ask for a discount.
SUMMARY OF LATEST NEWS
SUMMER HALF TERM was very busy. We had achievement badges, road rider training, general rally, showjumping training, cross country rally and dressage training so there was something for everyone. The cross country rally saw us visiting Stockland Lovell for the first time. The course catered very well for all ages from minis to seniors and everyone went home happy.
PONY CLUB SHOW held on Sunday 7th June was extremely fortunate with the weather. The forecasters had predicted torrential rain but we got away with a couple of showers. Our thanks go to Kate Walters for her brilliant organisational skills and for all those who helped both on Saturday setting up and on show day itself. Also thanks go to our sponsors.
