Jumping and Style Competition
The Avon Vale Pony Club, together with Stonar School , ran a very successful Jumping and Style Competition in October. The competition started at 8am and continued until nearly 10 o'clock at night.
Katie Ebbs qualified for the final with two teams - in the 85cm class with Antonia Riley, Libby Seed and Alicia Bouch and also with her school team, Sheldon.
The Avon Vale also won the 75cm Class with the team of Sarah Pinfield, Sophie Andrews, Katie Smyth and Jonty Bevins

The Avon Vale has for a long time had some very successful polo players, but we now need some new younger members who would like to learn how to play. Details on the POLO tab
To encourage new polo players do read Diana Deal's account of her daughter Rebecca's first polo rally at Druids Lodge - also under the POLO tab
The Avon Vale Pony Club was established in 1924 and is part of Area 14. The branch is located in Wiltshire and has some 220 members.
The Avon Vale runs four annual camps, has groups for dressage, show jumping, eventing, tetrathlon and pony club racing as well as running daytime and evening rallies, fun rides, a show, horse trials, hunter trials and dismounted activities. Whilst the Avon Vale has been highly successful at Area and Pony Club Championship level competitions, we also have plenty of fun and learning opportunities for all ages and abilities.
Internationally the Pony Club has a membership of over 110,000 across 18 countries, making it the largest association of riders in the world. Most British equestrian medal winners at all Olympic Games have been members of the Pony Club.
